All the hats that I’ve been wearing

I have always been passionate about Production since I was a in Grade School. I found myself fascinated watching bloopers and behind-the-scenes videos; and that’s why I took up Production Design in De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, only to find out that I like leading teams and computing budgets more – so, I worked as a Producer (and loving it!)

I started as an Assistant Production Manager to some of my friends and it gave me a head start on training to be a Production Manager. I have worked as a freelance PM for a few years on short films, independent films and some advertisement videos before I entered the world of Advertising by being Straight Shooters Media, Inc.’s Marketing Associate. My experience in this company allowed me to expand my knowledge in Producing and Advertising. Aside from this day job, my friends and I also join some contests for advertising under MOFILM, which gave us the chance to create one-minute ads for variety of well-known brands in the fields of telecommunications, energy saving, automotive and sports. Headed by Gian Mawo, our team won various awards.

I wanted to be the type of producer who understands perfectly every aspect of Video Production so I recently ventured into the world of Post-Production, as a post-producer at PixelBox Asia. Now I am yet to check-off Music & Sound Production.

While Producing is my passion, I am also the type of person who never want to stop learning – thus, I am also studying Digital Marketing. From time-to-time, I get in touch with my writer self and write some scripts, concepts for films/series. Due to my instability and exploration stage earlier in my 20’s, I also found a career in Events as a Production Manager – corporate events and weddings.

I know, it’s quite a lot and it’s getting a little confusing. I’ll tell you more about it as I recount my project experiences and memories!

Got projects that you want to discuss?

Whether Digital Marketing, events or film; as a producer, production manager, post-producer or events manager – I would love to be a part of your project!
